Naturally with fusion 360 introducing sheet metal i ve been jumping on the sheet metal portion of my self imposed task.

Fusion 360 hits the ground running in 2017 with sheet metal branching and merging. When designing sheet metal assemblies it is often advantageous to create parts in the context of existing parts. This box results in a pattern which is just a copy of the box but without all of the flange adjustment options. I seem to be getting the hang of the fusion360 sheet metal mode but the create flat pattern does not always seem to work.

After some experimentation i ve concluded that the problem is that the create flat feature can t cope with you modifying the sketch that the drawing is based from.
